Which Manual Mill is right for you?

First we don't sell junk... All the mills we offer are considered the best available. We don't sell Jet, Grissley or Enco Type Machines.

Some are better than others but not by much. Your Webb, Sharp, Kent and Atrump Mills are top of the line. The Birmingham line is the economy machine we offer.

ALL of the Webb, Kent and Atrump Machines are made in Taiwan.

Sharp and Birmingham Offer Both Taiwan built Machines and China Built Machines.

We will only offer the China built machines but if they include a Taiwan Built Head.

We will always identify the country of origin of the machinery we offer our customers.

So first you have to consider your budget.

Second the table size and travels you require.

Third the Type of Head and Spindle.

There are Three basic Heads each is 3 Horse Power.

 1, A Step Pulley Head, where you change the belt to get the RPM you need.

 2, A Variable Speed Head, where you turn a hand wheel that Changes the RPM mechanically.

 3, The NEW EVS Head "Electronic Variable Speed" Where RPM is changed by turning a potentiometer that   increase's and decrease's the RPM via an AC inverter. This head includes a DIgital Display of the RPM.

All of these heads come Standard with R-8 Spindles. 30 Taper is available on most as an option.

The only exception are the 5 Horse Power machines that feature a 40 taper spindle.
